<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">I make a custom Star Wars Clock so of course my son wanted to too!&nbsp; When he was 4 years old, we took a private clay working class.&nbsp; He really loved it and we decided to make a Lego Star Wars Clock. Here's how he made his (and below his instructions, I included a much much easier and faster version so you don't have to spend hours and hours at it)</span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">Step 1:&nbsp; roll out the clay into a nice large flat smooth piece</span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">Step 2:&nbsp; Use a template like a plate that is at least 11" in diameter and cut out a circle and smooth the edges,&nbsp; I think he did an awesome job for a 4 year old! find the center and make a hole between 3/8" and 1/2" (i did the measuring)&nbsp; My son decided to textured it with lego imprints.</span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">Step 3: wait for the clay to dry, sand and fire the piece, sand again</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">Step 4:&nbsp; Cut out a template of the Death Star II and secure it on the center of the clock.&nbsp; Paint and splatter paint the inside of paper template and make it look like the Death Star using different shades of gray and black and white.&nbsp; Fire again</span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">Step 5:&nbsp; Attach mechanism (found at craft stores, ebay or contact me if you can't find any and I can sell you one for $4.00)&nbsp; Attach Dials.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;"><img class="__mce_add_custom__" title="sons-clock-3-web.jpg" src="http://www.yougneek.com/product_images/uploaded_images/sons-clock-3-web.jpg" alt="sons-clock-3-web.jpg" width="513" height="513" /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">Step 6:&nbsp; Glue 12 Lego pieces (2x8 bricks) to the 2 points to represent the numbers.&nbsp; Print out and use my template to guide you.&nbsp; </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;"><img class="__mce_add_custom__" title="cam-clock-6-web.jpg" src="http://www.yougneek.com/product_images/uploaded_images/cam-clock-6-web.jpg" alt="cam-clock-6-web.jpg" width="505" height="505" /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">Step 7:&nbsp; Attach your favorite Star Wars Lego Figs!</span> (if figures include jet packs, you may need "adapter" pieces of 1x2 bricks attached to their legs behind the knees</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">FASTER &amp; EASIER ALTERNATE METHOD</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">Step 1:&nbsp; buy a wood clock face round at least 11" in diameter (at the woodworking store, craft store or ebay)</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">Step 2:&nbsp; paint it white or leave it the way it is</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">Step 3:&nbsp; cut out a death star picture from a lego catalog and paste it on to the center of the wood clock face.&nbsp; Varnish clock face (optional)</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua, palatino;"><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">Step 4:&nbsp; Attach mechanism (found at Michael's, Jo-Ann's ebay or contact me if you can't find any and I can sell you one for $4.00)&nbsp; Attach Dials.</span></span></p>
